Painted, destressed, torched and repainted surfaces of all three pieces are the result of an experimental battlefield of media. This triptych is inspired by the rich history of the Order of Malta and the heavy wax impasto paintings of the masters that have been carried down through the ages.
 
Materials: Mixed media (bees wax, damar varnish, glue, paint, shellack, etc) on cradled wood panel.
